Campaigning in Ethiopia / Meine Arbeit in Äthiopien

26 Jul

I am still in Ethiopia to visit and develop projects which I will present in the next year. I want to provide jobs to women but especially a fair income. Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries of the world and a lot of Somalian refugees are living there too. The conditions are often catastrophic. Most people do not have access to clean water and there is no energy supply. Although most part of Ethiopia is arable land, food, irrigation and seed are missing. There is almost none medical supply and especially on the countryside they need schools.

It is my goal to invest and to find investors to help the people in Ethiopia who are hospitable and peaceloving. Here you can find some pictures of my journey.

Hi Waris, it is me again. On the top of what I have written yesterday I have an idea concerning your project in Ethiopia. I have a lot of good friends – women on different posts and working in different areas who I strongly believe would like to help. If you like the idea we can create twins – one woman from Slovakia + one woman from Ethiopia put in contact to help to start a job, helping with the seeds and “seeds” for the small business. I can also imagine children here would be willing to twin with children in Ethiopia or other African countries, maybe in the biginning with as pen-pals, or by organizing fairs with their small products to collect some money for their counter-parts so they can produce something small which could be sold to buy books, cloths or what they need most. Let me know what do you think about this idea, I know it is not a new idea or a special one, but I believe it could help. Once we know each other better over this globe we can make a difference.
